Pure Energy Dance Company

The Pure Energy Dance Company was established in 2007 as a pre-professional youth company based at Julie’s School of Dance.  The 15-20 member group participates in performances in Ohio and Indiana, including shows at the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne and the Bryan Arts & Education Building. We are proud to continue to perform at the Embassy Theatre's Festival of Trees Christmas celebration since 2009. They also attend dance conventions around the area and have had the opportunity to take master classes from: Fik-Shun, Allison Holker, tWitch, Alexie Agdeppa, Eliana Girard, Dusty Button, Hayley Mac Cooper, Mary Ann Lamb, Mary McLeod, Ryan Lohoff, Janelle Isis, Joshua Allen, Geo Hubela, Dena Rizzo, Keltie Colleen, Trina Simon, Angel Roberts, Blue Cervini, Kent Boyd, Judine Somerville, Taylor Quinn, Julian Thorn, Aaron Burr, Gev Manoukian, Jessica King, and many other teachers.

Company members are selected by invitation only from the students who have completed at least one year at Julie's School of Dance. Students and families must prove to be reliable, responsible, cooperative, and have a good attitude. Students must prove to have the potential to excel at dance: learn and retain choreography quickly, have strength and flexibility, and be able to draw the audience in as a performer.
